Selected package
What gets restricted
The policy covers the main web and app services used for social networking and messaging. The exact list is confirmed before installation.
How it works
Your Safaricom fibre router feeds the MikroTik, and every managed user connects through the MikroTik network.
Pawa configures DNS and firewall controls for the major social media services you want restricted.
We verify the block on phones and computers, then include one adjustment within seven days.
Network requirement
The Safaricom router connects to the MikroTik RB951Ui-2HnD. Its WiFi should be disabled or restricted so users cannot bypass the filtering policy.
Important to know
Social services change domains and connection methods over time. VPN apps, encrypted DNS and future platform changes can require additional restrictions. Option 1 includes one adjustment within seven days, but not continuous list maintenance.
