These terms summarize how Pawa is offered as a WiFi billing product. Formal commercial terms may be confirmed during onboarding.
The one-off KES 1,500 setup invoice becomes due immediately after WiFi setup is complete. The setup fee is non-refundable. The monthly Pawa subscription is always charged on Starter or Silver unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Pawa collection adds a platform fee on net sales collected through Pawa, while own PayBill/Till operators do not pay that collection fee.
The setup fee covers onboarding and technical setup work, including workspace preparation, MikroTik connectivity, hotspot configuration, captive portal setup, and initial verification. Once paid, the setup fee is non-refundable, including if an operator later stops using Pawa or changes their network arrangement.
Operators are responsible for lawful network use, customer communication, router ownership, internet supply, and accurate package pricing.
Operators must provide the router access needed for setup and support. Private VPN access is recommended for hosted deployments.
Pawa depends on hosting, router reachability, payment provider availability, and internet connectivity. We work to keep the service reliable, but those dependencies can affect live operations.
Pawa may improve workflows, pricing presentation, and technical setup over time. Material commercial changes should be communicated to active operators.
