What is the setup cost?
You start at KES 0. The one-off KES 1,500 setup invoice becomes due only after MikroTik is verified and 50 successful customer package payments complete.
What is the monthly fee?
If Pawa collects customer payments, there is no fixed monthly platform invoice; Pawa takes 5% of completed WiFi sales. If you use your own PayBill/Till, Starter is KES 1,500/month up to 3,000 month-end customers and Business is KES 3,500/month above 3,000.
How does the 5% commission work?
The 5% applies only when customer STK payments are collected through the Pawa platform gateway. Example: KES 10,000 collected from WiFi sales means KES 500 Pawa fee and KES 9,500 operator balance before payout.
What is the full cost including router, cabling, installation, and internet?
Pawa software/setup pricing does not include router hardware, access points, cabling, site installation labour, power backup, poles, fiber, Starlink, or ISP monthly internet. Those are quoted separately based on router model, site size, distance, and internet provider.
